Teach, Disciple & Innovate
My greatest desire is for others to know and live out the scriptures. God’s Word is a beautiful gift to humanity! I hope to do everything I can to help people understand the scriptures. That means looking at both what it says and what it means. But simply reading the Bible is not enough. God’s desire for us is that we would live it out and do what it says. Helping others do that is what I call discipleship. It’s simply about taking the next faithful step!
When I was 21 years old God called me into ministry and I began training through serving in a church and going to seminary. Through my education, experience and the confirmation of my gifting by others, I’ve now been a licensed pastor since 2012 and I was ordained at my home church in Modesto on the first weekend of January, 2020.
As a teacher I have a deep passion for helping people understand the Word of God. God has blessed me with the ability to dive into the word deeply and efficiently and be able to articulate the truths in it clearly. It brings me great joy to see the transforming power of God on display through the scripture. I want to know and teach the Bible more clearly every day.
As a discipler I currently have the privilege of working with young people. There is nothing more rewarding than to see God working in the lives of students. God has called me to shepherd students and care for them in a holistic way.
Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.
Matthew 28:19-20
